The Best Twin Buggy
This inline double is designed to expand with you and your family. It comes with a variety of seating options that can be used by twins or kids of different ages. The foam-filled tires will never flatten, and its soft suspension is perfect for kerbs.
It folds flat and is in compliance with the weight requirements for gate-checks at airports, making it easy to carry. It also has a massive underseat storage basket and four-panel sun canopy.
Leclerc Influencer
With its sleek design, auto-fold and cabin-approved dimensions, the Leclerc Influencer is an excellent choice for travelers. Its folded (and unfurled) width is 47cm. It is slightly bigger than the IATA standard 45cm. But, it meets airline hand luggage regulations. It can be stored in overhead lockers on flights (subject to airline approval). It was easy to clean with a cloth and there were plenty of other items such as nappy bags, footmuffs, and buggie bags that clip onto handles, and hoods with UV50+ protection.
It’s easy to move up and down stairs, and it can fit into tight spaces like narrow alleyways, shops and Jane’s terrace home. The bumper bar can double as a carry handle, and there’s a large, flip-flop friendly brake that has a color indicator. The basket is smaller than others but it’s big enough to accommodate a decent-sized change bag. there are also additional trays for drinks, snacks and toys.
It is suitable from birth. The adaptors are available separately to be used in conjunction with an Leclerc Baby Carrycot. For older children there’s a backrest that flattens to make it perfect for nap times or extended walks. The 5-point harness that is magnetic is easy to use. It’s also extremely light, weighing only 6.6kg. A travel bag is also included.
Joie Evalite Duo
The British brand Joie has a goal to “share happiness with parents who are expecting” by creating pushchairs which are “functional and stylish, as well as innovative”. The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It is designed to carry two children at once unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin. It also offers stadium seating that lets both children see the world.
Weighing just over 10kg The Evalite Duo is one of the tiniest strollers for siblings on the market. It’s suitable for babies from birth and can be used with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It’s easy to fold, lift, drive and ride. The frame’s clever design expands to accommodate a second child seat.
Out ‘n’ About say the one-handed fold is a major feature of the Evalite Duo, and they were awed by how quickly and easily it is put together. However, they did notice that it’s more difficult to navigate bumps and rough terrain than other models.
The front seat doesn’t fully recline, so parents were forced to use their hands to lower it. This is something they would prefer to avoid when traveling with young children. But, they do agree that the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that can be made perfect with some tweaks. And they appreciate that it’s small and compact when folded!
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach, a sophisticated tandem buggy that gives parents the variety they require. It’s compatible with a wide range of car seats and uses the one-click method to fold and fold, making it ideal for families on the go. It also comes with plenty of accessories that other brands charge for separately like liners and rain covers.
iCandy’s Peach pushchair is a favored choice for fashion-conscious parents thanks to its modern and stylish premium jersey fabrics. This new 2022 version of the Peach has undergone a series of minor adjustments that enhance performance and efficiency without sacrificing aesthetics.
The addition of a ride on board makes this the perfect option for twins. It’s also a bit smaller than the previous Peach models however that doesn’t stop it from providing all the space you’ll require for your kids.
This is a great double stroller if you want something stylish and adaptable. You can use it as a single stroller from birth and then buy the double kit to make it into a twin stroller. It also comes with a large basket and five reclining positions for maximum comfort for your child. It also has an integrated carry strap and a one-handed folding mechanism. double pushchairs to store, especially because it folds in two parts instead of just one.
iCandy Orange
This is the best twin buggy available. The seats can be fitted with liners and footmuffs that keep your children warm during cold weather. The carrycot is able to be fitted onto the Orange chassis with ease thanks to the gates that open and is spacious and comfortable. The seat and carrycot are set up in various configurations, and the Orange chassis has an amazing 30 different combinations.
The wheels are built to take on rough surfaces and pavements. Also, there’s a large shopping basket, which is perfect for large supermarkets. This pushchair feels smooth to drive and has a light feel, and the pedal brake that is rounded is easy to use (but not a flip-flop-friendly model). It’s not the easiest to fold, and the latch that keeps it folded needs two hands to open. Once it’s collapsed the front wheels fold under the basket, and the chassis is free to stand.
The Orange is ideal for style-conscious parents who have children or toddlers and want a buggy that’ll be able to grow with the child. It’s also a good option for parents who plan to have an additional child in the not-too-distant future who want a flexible double pushchair. The iCandy Orange is not cheap, but it’s versatile enough that it will last for a while and have a high resale price as well. It can also be fitted with a buggy board which should reduce the number of siblings fighting over seats.
Mountain Buggy Duet
Established by an Australian, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first brand to concentrate on all-terrain dual pushchairs. The Duet twin stroller can be easily maneuvered around narrow shopping aisles and through the doors. It is one the most compact and fully-featured double buggies on the market and has won numerous awards including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.
The seats are small enough to allow children of various ages to sit comfortably together. They also have an independent reclined so that children can pick their preferred seating position. The large canopy has flick-out sun visors and the storage bin is very roomy. It is compatible with nearly all brands and comes with two car seat adapters for infants with the purchase of car seats.
The only downside is the weight. At 32.4 lbs, it is difficult to lift into and out of the trunk, and may be difficult for Grandma to manage. It is priced higher than other double buggies. It is built to last, and has a lot of features for its price. It is a great choice for parents in urban areas who want to avoid lugging a bulky stroller around. And, the straps that are padded and buckles with five points ensure safety for babies.
Bugaboo Donkey Twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a beautiful, functional buggy with elegant design. It’s a great product, but it’s not without flaws.
It provides very few additional features, both for children and parents. There’s a small bin beside the seat, but it’s only accessible when the seat is connected and that’s all the feature it provides. There aren’t any parent trays, cup holders or pockets for accessories, and this could pose a problem for long trips.
The seats don’t recline very flat and the gap between the seats is quite large. Our 5-year-old had trouble lying back comfortably. It’s a pity given that it’s a premium vehicle.
It’s simple to maneuver, and the swivel wheel is ideal for climbing up stairs and slopes. It’s also slim enough to fit through most doorways and folds down quickly for easy storage and transport. It can also be switched to mono mode with just three clicks if you require more space or want to make a quick escape. The comfort wheeled board can accommodate the third child should it be needed. If you’re budget-conscious there are alternatives that are less expensive. It’s worth it though in the event that you’re a huge fan of the brand and have money to spend.
