The Best Twin Buggy
This inline double is designed to grow with your family and you. It offers a variety of seating options that can be used by twins or children of various ages. The foam-filled tires will never flatten, and its soft suspension is perfect for kerbs.
It’s easy to travel since it folds flatly, and it meets the weight requirements for gate-checks at airports. It also comes with an enormous under-seat storage basket and a four-panel sun canopy.
Leclerc Influencer
The Leclerc influencer is a fantastic choice for flyers. Its sleek design, auto-folding and cabin approved dimensions make it a fantastic choice. Its folded (and unfurled) width is 47cm. It is slightly bigger than the IATA standard 45cm. However, it meets airline hand luggage regulations. It can be kept in overhead lockers on flights (subject to airline approval). We found it easy to clean with just a wipe down, and there were a variety of additional items available, including footmuffs, nappy and buggy organiser bags that fit onto handles and hoods that provide UV50+ protection.
It’s easy to maneuver up and down stairs, and it can fit through tight spaces such as narrow streets, shops, and Jane’s terrace house. The bumper bar doubles up as a carry handle, and there’s an ample, flip-flop-friendly brake that has a color indicator. The basket is smaller than other models, but it can still hold a large changing bag. There are additional tray to store drinks, snacks and toys.
It’s suitable for babies from the time of birth and can be used with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat with adaptors (sold separately). For older children there’s a backrest that flattens, making it ideal for naps or long walks. The 5-point harness with magnets is simple to use. It’s also light, weighing just 6.6kg. A travel bag is also included.
Joie Evalite Duo
British brand Joie is dedicated to “sharing joy with parents who are expecting”, creating pushchairs that are “functional, innovative and stylish”. The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is the brand’s most recent product. It’s designed to accommodate two children side-by-side, unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has seats that are raised so both children can view the world around them.
The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg, making it one of the most lightweight strollers for kids available. It’s suitable from birth and is compatible with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It’s easy for you to fold or lift, drive, and ride. The clever frame expands to accommodate the second child seat.
Out ‘n’ about says the Evalite Duo’s one-handed folding is an absolute highlight. They were awed by the speed and ease with which the Evalite Duo comes together. They did notice that it was more difficult to navigate rough surfaces and bumps in comparison to other models.
They also mention that the front seat does not fully recline, and they needed to utilize their hands to bring it to a comfortable position which they would prefer not to be forced to do when traveling with small children. The Evalite Duo, however, is a fantastic stroller that could be improved upon by a few tweaks. They are awestruck by how small and compact when folded!
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach, a sophisticated tandem buggy, gives parents the variety they need. It’s compatible with a variety of car seats and uses the one-click method to fold and fold, making it ideal for families who are on the move. It also comes with a variety of accessories that rival brands will charge separately, such as liners and rain covers.
iCandy’s Peach pushchair is a popular choice for fashion-conscious parents thanks to its stylish and contemporary premium jersey fabrics. This new 2022 version of the Peach has been subjected to a variety of minor tweaks to improve performance and efficiency without compromising on aesthetics.
The inclusion of a ride-on board makes this the perfect option for twins. It’s also a bit smaller than the previous Peach model, but it still offers all the space that your child might require.
This is an excellent double stroller If you are looking for something elegant and versatile. You can use it as a single pram from birth, and then purchase the double kit to make it into a twin stroller. It has an enormous basket and five reclining positions that ensure maximum comfort for your child. It also features a one-handed fold and an integrated carry strap. The only issue is that it could be somewhat bulky to store when you aren’t using it, especially as it folds into two parts instead of one.
iCandy Orange
This is the top twin buggy on the market. The seats can be fitted with footmuffs and liners to keep your children warm during cold winter months. The carrycot is simple to attach using the side flaps that open to allow for gate opening. It is comfortable and spacious. The seat and carrycot are set up in various configurations, and the Orange chassis can accommodate an incredible 30 different possible combinations.
The wheels are designed to handle rough surfaces and pavements. There is also an enormous shopping basket that’s ideal for supermarkets with large sizes. This pushchair feels smooth to drive with a lightweight feel, and the pedal brake that is rounded is easy to use (but it’s not flip-flop-friendly). The latch that keeps it folded needs two hands to open. When it’s collapsed, the front wheels tuck into the basket and the chassis is free to stand.
The Orange is a great choice for parents who are fashion-conscious and have an infant or toddler and want a buggy that’ll be able to grow with their children. It’s also a great option for parents expecting another child in the near future and want a movable double pushchair. The iCandy Orange may not be inexpensive but its versatility could ensure it will last for a long time and increase its resale price. It can also take a buggy board which should aid in reducing sibling fights over seats!
Mountain Buggy Duet
The company was founded by a New Zealander, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first brand of prams that focuses on all-terrain double pushchairs. The Duet twin stroller is easily maneuvered in narrow shopping aisles and through doorways. It is among the most compact, full-featured double buggies in the market and has been awarded numerous awards, including 2014 Mother & Baby Twin Gold and 2015 Prima Baby Twin Silver.
The narrow seats are large enough for children of various ages to sit together comfortably, and the seats are reclineable so kids can choose their preferred position. The large canopies have the ability to flip out sun visors, and the storage basket is spacious. It accepts two infant car seats with the purchase of car seat adapters and can be used with almost all brands, which is a huge advantage.
The only issue is the weight. At 32.4 pounds, it is heavy to lift in and out of the trunk, and may be difficult for Grandma to maneuver. And, it is more expensive than the majority of side-by-side double buggies. However, it has been designed to last and offers many features for the price. It is a good choice for parents in urban areas who want to avoid lugging a heavy stroller around. The padded harnesses, 5-point buckle, and straps with padding ensure safety for infants.
Bugaboo Donkey twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a elegant, functional buggy that has a classy design. It’s a great product, but it’s not without flaws.
It offers very few extra conveniences, both for the kids and parents. The only thing offered by the small side bin is that it can only be used only when one seat in the car is attached. There aren’t any cup holders, parent tray or accessory pockets. This could be a problem during long journeys.
The seats don’t recline to a very flat position and the gap between them is quite large, so our 5-year-old experienced difficulty lying back in a comfortable position. That’s a shame considering it’s a premium model.
It’s easy to move and the swivel wheel is ideal for climbing up stairs and slopes. It is also narrow enough to fit through most doorways, and it folds easily for easy storage and transport. It can also be turned into mono mode with just three clicks if you require more space or want to make a quick getaway. It can even accommodate a third kid with the comfort wheeled board should you’re required to. It’s expensive, but for those on a budget there are other options out there. If double strollers ‘re a fan of the brand and can afford it, it’s worth the cost.
