After the lower anchors are firmly secured, thread the seat belt of the vehicle through the buckle and guides on the car seat. Then, you can pull the longer part of the belt to the back of the seat and through the base of the holder. Make sure that the belt is pulled tight and tucked in for your child’s safety.

Our FamilyFix 360 Pro base features revolutionary SlideTech technology that allows you to turn the car seat toward you by pressing a button on the front of the base. This makes it much easier to remove and install your child from the seat while keeping an eye on them.

The base comes with a range of installation options including lower anchors/LUAS and an integrated Isofix connector. Lower anchors are quickly used. Just press the red buttons to detach the connectors then connect them to the belt track on the base, and connect them to the lower anchor points of your vehicle.

Built-In Rebound Protection

The built-in rebound protection feature is fantastic to limit side-to-side movement as well as reducing impact forces during crashes. It’s fantastic that this car seat has it, since many don’t. The system detects that the seat isn’t installed correctly and applies a small amount of pressure to the chair’s headrest to restrict the movement. The only thing that stands out as a drawback is the strap’s shortness that can squeeze children’s legs and cause discomfort. However, maxi cosi pearl car seat is easily solved by adding a crotch buckle cover, which is readily available online. It’s a minor issue that we can overlook it as this seat has so many other awesome features!
