Oscar Isaac, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, and Jason Schwartzman are among those who have been added to the Oscar-winning animated show There’s one casting announcement that Sony Pictures is keeping under the cloak of secrecy. This is Scarlet Spider. Scarlet Spider, a character who comic book enthusiasts of the world will recognize as Peter Parker’s clone, Ben Reilly.

In an interview with Total Film, director Joaquim Dos Santos told Total Film, “I can’t wait for people to hear who voices him. It’s not yet out, but I love this Scarlet Spider actress.”

It’s not out of the possibility the possibility that Scarlet Spider will be used to provide Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield a voice cameo. But, it seems like Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will have a bigger cameo than whoever performs the clone…

Miles Morales returns for the new chapter in the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse series, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time neighborhood’s friendly Spider-Man is sucked into the Multiverse and is confronted by an entire team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence.

But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new danger, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be an hero in order to save the people he loves most.

This is Earth Day, an annual event that is meant to highlight global concerns and promote the steps needed to protect the environment. However, Sony Pictures Animation is also making it an occasion to announce Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which takes place across multiple planets. On Twitter the official account for Spider-Verse was celebrating Earth Day by releasing four new images from the film with each one highlighting the different Earth.

The first image takes place in Earth-1610, home of Miles Morales. If you glance at the lower right side you’ll see Miles and Gwen sharing an upside down moment.
